Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team in supporting the recruitment and admissions efforts for the One-Year Masters programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You will play a key role in facilitating information sessions, assisting with events, and supporting a variety of special projects to help strengthen the program’s presence and outreach. 

 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Must send a cover letter outlining interest and resume. 

  2. Must be an enrolled graduate student in the Master of Accounting program in the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compose and send personalized postcards to newly admitted students.
     

  • Facilitate information sessions for prospective One-Year Master’s students, providing insights into the program and answering questions.
     

  • Participate in OYM recruiting events, including setup and takedown support.
     

  • Assemble mailing packets for admitted students to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
     

  • Assist with organizing and packing materials for off-site recruiting events.
     

  • Provide support for special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.

Job Requirements

 

  • Must be a current enrolled graduate student in the Master of Accounting program in the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan 

  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person, with prospective students

  • Public Speaking and Presentation Abilities – Comfortable leading group information sessions and representing the program at events.

  • Adaptability and Initiative – Flexible in taking on special projects and contributing to new or evolving initiatives as needed

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently 

  • Maintain good academic standing, as defined by the University Registrar

  • Maintain the integrity of students' confidential records, in accordance with FERPA and University policy

Hourly Rate $15.50/hour
