This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop the following NACE and M-LEAD competencies: Adaptability: The role will require continued practice to adapt to the challenges of recording remotely, working with multiple stakeholders, guest experience and understanding of podcast recording, and many other areas. Building Relationships: With the podcast being a collaborative effort across campus you will have the opportunity to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization alumni, students, staff, and faculty. The ability to enhance your network and continue to practice the skills associated with building relationships will be significant. Digital Technology: You will have the opportunity to learn and improve your skills associated with using a myriad of technological tools to produce and edit the podcast. This can include exploring new technology to improve aspects of the podcast and the ability to try out new ideas. Facilitation: You will have the opportunity to facilitate meetings and podcast recording sessions allowing you to develop and practice the art of facilitating. Feedback: You will receive feedback from members of the collaborative, guests, and your supervisor that you will then respond to and implement. You will also be able to provide feedback to guests prior to and in real-time related to episode format and content delivery. |
