Job Description

Social Theory and Practice (STP) is an interdisciplinary, social justice-focused major in LSA. Program Assistants act as ambassadors for the major, attending events such as the So Cool So Just fair, the LSA Major/Minor Expo, and the RC Coursemart, sharing information about the major with prospective students. Additionally, Program Assistants support STP events throughout the academic year and occasionally take-on special projects related to marketing, design, recruitment, etc. 
Educational Value

Students will learn valuable communication, marketing, recruitment, and event planning skills. 
Job Requirements

STP Program assistants are STP majors who are interested in sharing their experiences in the major with prospective students as well as attending STP events throughout the academic year in a support staff role.
