Location: 317 Maynard St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104 (75% in-person fellowship experience)
Pay Rate: Undergraduate $17/hr, Master’s $20/hr, Doctoral $23/hr
Job Duration: Up to 12.5 hours/week for the fall 2025 semester, with the possibility of extending the fellowship

Who we’re looking for: 
The Course Operations Team is looking for a creative student fellow to assist with improving learner experiences with Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) across the Michigan Online catalog of offerings. The nature of this work requires the student to be service-minded, detail-oriented, produce accurate work, and be able to organize their work.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Improve the accessibility and readability of course experiences.
  • Review and update course documents at scale.
  • Participate in beta testing of courses.
  • Generate reports on the progress of work projects.
  • Engage with team members from Course Operations, as well as other teams across the Online Learning domain.

Student Qualifications:

  • Some coursework in education-related fields is helpful but not necessary. 
  • Knowledge of engagement strategies or pedagogies is helpful but not necessary.

 

Hourly Rate $17.00/hour to $23.00/hour
Hours 10.0 to 12.5 hours per week

Start Date Monday, October 6, 2025
End Date At the end of the fall term, with possibility of a fellowship extension
