We are seeking virtual tutors to service our Michigan based tutoring company! Most of our clients can be flexible with scheduling and can work around your availability. Tutors can work as much or little as they like. Excellent pay contingent on a variety of factors! $17-$32 per hour We have demand across the content areas but have the majority of demand in the following areas: Mathematics: Algebra I, II, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus, Statistics*
Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science
Foreign Language: Spanish, German and French
Social Studies: European, American, World, US Government, Economics*
English: Writing
SAT/ACT Support *denotes a content area that we are seeking immediate help
Interested candidates must possess the following:
- Ability to commit at least 2 hours per week. The majority of tutoring happens between 3pm-9pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tutoring is occasionally needed on the weekend. You can schedule sessions when it works best for you in these time frames!
- Punctuality, professionalism and reliability is a non-negotiable
- Previous experience tutoring, teaching, helping others with homework is a plus
- A cumulative 3.3+ GPA
- An A average in the classes in which you'll be tutoring
- A 4/5 AP Exam score (only needed if you tutor AP classes)
- A fully functioning Computer and Zoom account
- Confidence to tutor in your area of strength and desire to help others
- Must have proper documentation to obtain gainful employment. Tutors are 1099 employees
- Strong communication skills
