The Motivation Lab seeks a part-time research assistant to support data science in a new project implementing personalized neural networks to promote physical activity on Apple Watches. The project leverages real-time physical activity data to determine when different intervention options will increase a person's likelihood of moving more than they would have otherwise. The research assistant will perform data cleaning and model development for an IRB-approved proof-of-concept study with up to 30 patients who have hypertension. Training will be provided on how to use the existing codebase and check results but some computational background would be useful. Execute designated experiments; Participate in the design and development of data analysis procedures; Perform mathematical computations and computer set-up tasks; Design questionnaires and edit manuscripts; Assist in judging the validity of test data; Prepare reports or data presentations |
