FPHLP Program AssistantJob Description: The Future Public Health Leaders Program (FPHLP) is a CDC funded program designed to encourage undergraduate college students to consider careers in public health. The 10-week residential summer program incorporates a multi-prong curriculum integrating real-world field experience and seminars and workshops designed to introduce students to public health careers. FPHLP is seeking a part-time (10-20 hours per week) program assistant to support the FPHLP team and participants. The assistant will manage the program’s social media accounts and assist with curriculum coordination, data entry, and report development. Key responsibilities: Social Media Management: Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote FPHLP across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including posts, videos, infographics, and more. Monitor social media channels for engagement, respond to inquiries and foster community interaction. Stay updated with social media trends and emerging platforms to ensure FPHLP remains current and impactful. Program Support: Assist in organizing and coordinating program events, webinars, and workshops. Manage communication with program participants, providing timely information and support. Help maintain and update program databases, records, and contact lists. Assist in the preparation and distribution of program materials, including newsletters, brochures, and presentations. Support the program team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and preparing reports. Offer logistical support during recruitment events, information sessions, and other program-related activities. Provide general administrative support, including collecting and distributing daily mail, data entry, and cleaning, and managing and maintaining office supply inventory. Other duties as assigned |
