 The Administrative Assistant will provide essential logistical, administrative, and human resources support to ensure the smooth operation of the research lab. This position serves as the key point of contact for scheduling, procurement, communication, website management, and event planning. The coordinator will work collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff to enable effective research and team engagement. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support - Schedule meetings and reserve appropriate meeting rooms for lab activities.
 - Submit and manage facilities service tickets to address lab infrastructure needs.
 
 Record Keeping and Communication - Update and maintain the lab website, ensuring current information is posted.
 - Submit departmental updates for university newsletters as requested or on a recurring basis.
 
 Human Resources Coordination - Assist with onboarding new lab members
 - Add or remove members from lab sites and other communication platforms as appropriate.
 
 Lab Meetings - Manage and update calendar invites for lab meetings.
 - Maintain and update the lab meeting invite list.
 - Manage communications with guest speakers and students as necessary
 
 Event Planning - Organize team bonding and lab social events.
 - Reserve rooms utilizing Schedulon and order food for events as needed.
 - Send event reminders and manage attendance through Google Forms.
 - Create event flyers, surveys, and materials using Canva or other design tools.
