Job Description

Position Summary:

The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests during resort functions and special events. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the resort’s standards of excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event orders and resort standards.
  • Provide courteous, professional food and beverage service during weddings, banquets, meetings, and other events.
  • Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest needs and requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event.
  • Break down banquet setups and return equipment and supplies to designated areas.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in compliance with local regulations and resort policies.
  • Collaborate with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance and represent the resort brand with excellence.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience in banquet, catering, or fine dining is a plus— training provided.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedule.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in banquet halls, meeting rooms, outdoor spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • Requires extended periods of standing, carrying trays, and walking.
Hours 10.0 to 20.0 hours per week
Compensation $16.00/hour to $18.00/hour
