Job Description

Business Systems Analyst

 

Project Requirements Gathering

  • Meets with end users and stakeholders and asks questions to understand and document the business purposes and processes involved with a project request

  • Identifies root causes of issues, performs gap analysis, and recommends process improvements

  • Under supervision, produces documentation to initiate and manage a project: business and use cases, project briefs, process improvements, wireframes, workflows, test cases, communication plans, project timelines and the business rules that govern them, and acceptance criteria

  • Partners with stakeholders and technical teams to analyze and evaluate solution options and process improvements. Validates proposed solutions against business needs.

  • Works with Ross IT staff to structure project milestones, create visuals for proposed solutions/process changes, and contribute to optimized solution designs and workflows
     

 

Educational Value

Students will grow their experience in the full cycle of project management, from initial requirements gathering to project completion, in a complex and fast-paced business and software environment. 

Job Requirements

Required Skills

  • Previous experience and / or training in Business Analyst skills and / or project management

  • Previous experience working in an IT organization
     

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other complex data systems

  • Experience working with large data sets (note - this is not the primary skillset for this position)

Hourly Rate $22.00/hour
