College Tutors of Michigan is searching for organized, subject specific experts to work as dedicated part-time Academic Tutors for elementary, middle and high school students in both general education and special education settings.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUPERSTAR TUTOR

As a College Tutor, your ability to engage with students will foster strong, honest connections with students and their parents. If you have achieved academic success and have the skills to help others achieve the same success, we have the tutoring job for you. The students you’ll work with vary from elementary to high school students so extreme patience is key. You’ll gladly provide students with academic assistance. You’ll plan and prepare for each tutoring session using student and learning center resources. You’ll evaluate student progress toward goals and determine appropriate courses of action.

• Involved, organized Student with Subject specific expertise
• Ability to tutor one-one-one in-person and remote learning settings
• Must have reliable transportation to and from tutoring locations in Dexter, Canton, Northville (We are not on a bus line)
• College Test Prep applicants must have scored in the 90% or above on their college entrance exam(s)
• Previous tutor experience a plus 
• Experience with students with ADHD and Autism a plus
