Job Description

The Department of Otolaryngology is looking to hire 2-3 student temps as Research Assistants for an industry sponsored hearing aid study. The term of this position is approximately 6-9 months depending on the study needs. This is a part time position (approximately 20 hours/week). Work hours can be daytime or evenings and are remote. Supervision is received from a NeCTO Senior Clinical Research Coordinator. 

Responsibilities• 

Phone calls to patients 
Scheduling patient visits 
Device shipping and tracking
Educational Value

Experince in a Clinical Research setting as a Research Assistants for an industry sponsored hearing aid study.

Job Requirements
High School Graduate 
Thorough knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft applications 
Ability to prioritize, pay close attention to detail, follow-through with tasks, and work as part of a team with medical professionals 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
Ability to work with and maintain data in a confidential manner 
 
Desired Qualifications:
College student working towards a Bachelor's degree 
Knowledge of medical terminology 
Knowledge of RedCap 
Hourly Rate $15.00/hour
Hours 10.0 to 20.0 hours per week
Time Frame Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer
Start Date Monday, December 15, 2025
End Date at completion of project.
