Job Summary
The Administrative Office Assistant serves as a key point of contact for building access, with a primary responsibility of answering phone calls—particularly from individuals who are locked out and require assistance. In addition to providing this essential support and ensuring rapid resolution of access issues, the Office Assistant manages office equipment, oversees mail and package distribution, and assists with general administrative tasks to help maintain a well-organized office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide general customer service related to building access
  • Periodically check the building for lost and found items, and assist with their documentation and return
  • Direct staff to pick-up and drop-off locations as needed for incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Operate and maintain Xerox machines, including basic troubleshooting and supply checks
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, data entry, and other assignments as requested

Hourly Rate $15.00/hour
