This is a clinical research position. In this role, the student will work with a clinical research team on a biorepository project in which patients with liver disease are recruited to provide blood specimens and complete surveys. Specific tasks include communication with potential and existing research participants, processing of blood specimens, management of databases and study documents, and collaboration with research colleagues. This position will also include in person and online training. This position will be in-person or hybrid.

- Current student at the University of Michigan enrolled at least part time

- Satisfactory academic progress

- Excellent work ethic

- Detail oriented

- Attending biweekly laboratory meetings

- Previous experience in a laboratory setting (preferred)

- Ability to stay on for more than two semesters (preferred)

- Medical Terminology (preferred)
