Job Description

Work as an assistant to the Theater Manager/Cultural Arts Program Specialist to provide theater event supervision for school and community groups using the Saline Area Schools district theater spaces, auditorium equipment maintenance and inventory, production set-up, and technical problem solving.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have practical working knowledge of theater sound, lighting, and rigging systems and experience in common stage management practices. Self-motivated, hard-working with strong work ethic. Ability to technically problem solve in high pressure situations. Ability to mentor and provide leadership for young theater technicians. Able to lift at least 35 lbs. Able to provide excellent customer service while working collaboratively with the Theater Manager. Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills that contribute to a positive and supportive team work environment. Experience working in a school setting with administrators and school staff a plus.

Hours 15.0 to 20.0 hours per week
Compensation $18.00/hour to $20.00/hour
