Position: Lead Student Web Developer, ADUE Student Web Development Team, College of Engineering

Position Overview:

Our student web development team supports10 WordPress websites for the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education office within the College of Engineering. We are seeking a motivated Student Lead Web Developer to assist the web manager with overseeing and supporting a team of 4–6 student web developers responsible for maintaining our websites. In this leadership role, you will ensure effective team collaboration, provide technical guidance, and facilitate skill development. Acting as the primary technical resource for your peers, you will help troubleshoot website and content issues, ensuring our web presence remains accurate and up-to-date. This position begins in early February and continues through late August. The opportunity to continue into the fall semester may be available.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with WordPress or comparable content management systems.

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS.

• Coursework or demonstrated skills in UI/UX principles.

• Experience troubleshooting website issues.

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

• Demonstrated trustworthiness, reliability, and accurate timekeeping skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience leading a student team or in peer mentoring roles.

• Familiarity with Trello or similar project management tool.

• Experience with Divi visual builder
