The student will assist in the following: Primary Tasks: Manage and generate social media content about concussion research and concussion-related news and strategize dissemination plans. Support graphic design, website update and maintenance, story writing, and video content editing. Design marketing materials (e.g., handouts) consistent with the Center’s mission and vision. Work with the U-M Concussion Center’s marketing and leadership teams to develop and execute dissemination plans. Promote and participate in the Center’s outreach and engagement activities. Secondary Tasks: Develop a database of journalists, stakeholders, and organizations to disseminate information to and share concussion-related education materials Generate short and long-form video content that can be used on various platforms (e.g., presentations, LinkedIn, YouTube) that can be used for community outreach and engagement efforts. The ideal candidate should be detail- and task-oriented, have excellent communication/ writing skills, and working knowledge in graphic design (e.g., Canva), website maintenance (e.g., WordPress), and social media/ digital marketing. |
