Student Marketing & Community Outreach Assistant

Hours: 4 to 6 hours per week

Duration: Through May 2026 with potential to extend

Location: Flexible and remote within the U-M community

 

About CareCircle

CareCircle is a free mobile app that helps people manage and share care. Whether it is personal care, caring for others, or sharing responsibilities that matter, CareCircle makes it easy to organize care instructions and share them with your trusted circle. Caregiving is something we all do, and caregiving works better when it’s shared.

 

The Opportunity

CareCircle is in its growth phase, and we are looking for a motivated University of Michigan student to help expand our reach. This role is ideal for someone interested in startups, app marketing, and community engagement who wants hands on experience working with a live product.

You will work directly with CareCircle’s co-founders and contribute to real decisions about how we identify target audiences and connect with them.

 

What You Will Do

  • Identify and research target user groups within the University of Michigan community and related audiences
  • Help design and execute community outreach and marketing strategies
  • Support grassroots marketing efforts including student organizations, campus partnerships, events, academic presentations, and digital outreach
  • Collaborate closely with the co-founders to brainstorm, test, and refine growth ideas
  • Share insights on what is working and where to iterate

Job Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Current University of Michigan student
  • Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, marketing, or app growth
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills and creative problem solving ability
  • Willingness to take initiative and share ideas
  • Lived experience or interest in supporting people with disabilities, chronic health issues, or other care needs
