Pay Rate: Undergraduate $17 per hour

Job Duration: 30 - 40 hours/week with the possibility of extending the fellowship for the fall term

Who we’re looking for: 

The Center for Academic Innovation (CAI) is seeking a Bachelor’s-level student to serve as an Online Learning Content Fellow, supporting the coordination and organization of the University’s online learning initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in project coordination, documentation, basic reporting, and research related to online education.
 

This position is ideal for a student who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in online learning, higher education, research, or project management.  

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support project coordination by tracking tasks, timelines, and follow-ups.

  • Schedule meetings, take notes, and maintain clear documentation.

  • Assist with basic data collection and simple charts or summaries (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets).

  • Conduct light research on online learning programs and trends; summarize findings.

  • Maintain organized trackers for notes, sources, and project materials.

Job Requirements

Required Student Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled U-M student in a Bachelor’s degree program.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience working with shared documents and basic spreadsheets.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Interest in online learning, higher education, research, or project management.

  • Experience from coursework, student jobs, or internships related to organization, research, or project support.

Hourly Rate $17.00/hour
Hours 20.0 to 29.0 hours per week
Time Frame Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer
Start Date Monday, May 4, 2026
End Date At the end of the spring/summer 2024 term, with possibility of a fellowship extension
