Job Description

Communication and Engagement Undergraduate Student Interns will support the Newnan Academic Advising Center’s outreach and engagement initiatives during the academic year. As an intern you will support our Communication and Engagement team by helping to produce our biweekly newsletter, Newnan News; our social media outreach (including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook posts), pop-up events on campus, among other initiatives. You will also help us track and analyze metrics and consult on mass email communications to LSA students.

This internship is not being offered for academic credit.

Job Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and general computing and typing skills required. 

  • Experience with Adobe Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Experience Manager), HTML, Canva, and MailChimp desired. 

  • On-the-job training will be provided and the internship is flexible based on students’ skills and professional goals

  • Students should be creative, innovative, and willing to learn new technical skills 

  • Good time management, strong oral and written skills, and ability to work independently are also essential for this role.
