Job Description

Work in the Buchakjian Lab will including maintaining oral cavity cancer tissue culture cells, performing western blotting, drug response curves, and other basic laboratory based experiments. The student will learn how to keep a laboratory notebook/record and how to present lab data. They will attend weekly lab meetings and one-on-one meeting with the lab PI.

Educational Value

Experience working in research lab settings working with cancer tissue culture cells and performing western blotting, along with other basic laboratory based experiments.

Job Requirements

Ability to keep accurate records and willingness to learn to work independently. 

Desired qualifications:1-2 years of experience working in a research laboratory. 

Hourly Rate $15.00/hour
Hours 4.0 to 19.0 hours per week
Time Frame Spring/Summer
Start Date Tuesday, May 5, 2026
End Date At completion of project.
