Job Description

The University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center (IPC) will be offering a learning experience for a current masters-level student. The student will partner with IPC faculty and staff to support research projects being conducted at the center.

Eligibility Requirement:

· Enrolled in a public health master’s degree program

Educational Value: The student will gain valuable experience working on research projects focused on injury prevention and will be able to apply knowledge and skills learned in the classroom in a real-world setting.

Qualifications:

· Ability to work independently in a collegial environment

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

· Analyze data and prepare findings in tables and figures

· Attend regular team meetings

· Assist in supporting research project task completion

· Assist with project management
