The Community Leadership Fellows (CLF) program is seeking a graduate student to provide assistance for fellowship activities between late August of 2026 and early May of 2027 (specific start/end dates are negotiable). The CLF program supports undergraduates from UM-Ann Arbor as they complete a year-long internship with a nonprofit organization. Selected fellows complete ~250 hours of work for their sponsoring organization during the academic year from September 2026 through April 2027. Throughout the year, fellows attend workshops, cohort meetings, and other events to discuss topics related to their development in the context of social change work. Potential responsibilities of the graduate student program assistant include, but are not limited to: Assist with administrative tasks, for example, tracking hours and attendance, follow-up surveys, processing reimbursements, and organizing in-person fellowship gatherings Assist with review and revision of fellowship curriculum, including maintenance of the program’s Canvas site Coordinate regular cohort gatherings Communicate with student interns and site supervisors about important program updates
Outside of scheduled meetings, most assigned tasks would be completed on your own time. Some fellowship activities take place in-person, however, the majority of work for this position will be virtual/remote. |
