Job Description

The Center for Campus Involvement seeks two students to serve as Student Organization Admin Assistants to help with admin processes over the summer. This role is ideal for students who enjoy organization, customer service, and supporting campus engagement efforts.

Student employees in this role will play an important part in maintaining smooth administrative operations and supporting student organizations as they navigate key processes.

Primary Responsibilities & Job Duties

  • Student Organization Application Support

    • Review and process student organization applications for completeness and accuracy

    • Communicate with student leaders regarding missing materials, next steps and deadlines

    • Maintain organized digital records and track application progresses

  • Festifall Application Assistance

    • Assist with the intake and processing of Festifall applications

    • Help monitor submissions, verify requirements and flag incomplete applications

    • Communicate with student leaders regarding missing materials, next steps and deadlines

  • Customer Service

    • Serve as a welcoming and professional point of contact for students, staff and visitors

    • Answer in-person and phone inquiries about student organizations, involvement opportunities and CCI services

    • Direct individuals to appropriate resources, offices or staff members as needed

The Center for Campus Involvement (CCI) is a dynamic, student-focused department that serves all undergraduate and graduate students through student programs, student services, and student development. Through meaningful involvement, CCI creates transformative experiences, a vibrant community, and lifelong memories for University of Michigan students. Additional CCI units include: Michigan Union Ticket Office (MUTO), Student Organization Resource Center (SORC), and Student Theater Arts Complex (STAC).
