We are seeking an Operations Assistant who takes initiative, solves problems effectively, and works well in teams. In this position, you will train throughout the company in order to cover various production departments for vacations and unexpected absences. You may also be responsible for miscellaneous duties, including picking up company lunches, occasional maintenance projects, and other less routine production (e.g., UV printing, button-making, etc.). Here’s what you can expect on a daily basis: - Train in every department (transfer printing, screen printing, embroidery, shipping etc.) in order to effectively fill in for regular employees on vacation or unexpectedly absent
- Pick up or receive deliveries for company lunch orders
- Periodically deliver completed orders to customers
- Schedule and facilitate custom order shipments
- Receive incoming shipments and deliveries
- Complete transfer press jobs as necessary
- Assist with facility projects as assigned
Are you a good candidate for this position? Candidate must possess: - High school diploma
- Valid Michigan driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Open availability (includes evenings and weekends)
- Effective communication skills
- Must be well organized
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to ask questions when unsure of something
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Availability: This is a full-time, 40+ hour/week position, and open availability is required. Some evening/night shifts will be required, and some weekends may be required. Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour. This position starts at $16 per hour with the opportunity for quick advancement. |
