Job Description

You will assist the test facility operations for approximately 10-20 hrs per week.  Duties include:

  • Assist with Mcity Test Facility maintenance and upkeep
  • Operate and maintain testing Proxies (Robots)
  • Work with Mcity Test Facility Technician on updating sensors and other equipment.
  • Support Connected and Automated Vehicle Testing
  • Provide support for Mcity meetings and events.
  • Other duties/projects, as needed

Job Requirements
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program in the U-M College of Engineering.
  • Part 107 UAS Certificate or UAS Experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning, using and explaining technology to others.
  • Self-starter with strong reliability and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
  • Willingness to work a schedule requiring occasional flexibility.
  • Basic office experience is desired.
Hourly Rate $18.00/hour to $20.00/hour
Hours 10.0 to 20.0 hours per week
