The workload will be dedicated to human biospecimen management, including but not limited to; patient data collection, managing blood and tissue samples, deidentifying, processing, and delivering the samples to the proper lab. The employee will need to work with gastroenterology, surgery, interventional radiology, clinics, and research labs to aid in the successful collection and processing of specimens. Patient data collection from medical records charts will also be completed.

• Associate Degree in Health Science or an equivalent combination of related education and experience is desirable.
• An understanding of medical terminology, experience in a large complex health care setting, ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty of all levels, and knowledge of university policies and procedures is desirable
• Demonstrates ability to learn and use new skills quickly and effectively
• Able to maintain data confidentiality and participant/subject/patient privacy.
• Excellent attendance record and strong work ethics
• Epic Experience is preferable
• Research experience is preferable
