Job Description

Job Duties include:

  • Assist in biological testing preparation in a research laboratory including locating and pulling samples from freezers
  • Printing and labeling aliquot tubes
  • Communication with lab team about missing or incorrect samples on pull lists
  • Opportunity to learn from laboratory staff and master’s students on setting up experiments and other lab procedures working under BSL2 requirements
Educational Value

Learn about public health, lab safety and testing, data management and field of Virology
Job Requirements

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and preferably some work experience in research or related technical fields
Hourly Rate $15.00/hour to $18.00/hour
Hours 10.0 to 15.0 hours per week
