Job Description

The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a current undergraduate student to support a research pilot project to test the usability and acceptability of a web-based contraceptive decision tool for Spanish-speaking people.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with participant outreach and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with data analysis (quantitative and qualitative
  • Conduct participant screening and enrollment (conducting informed consent)
  • Assist with data management and cleaning  
  • Assist with data analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Forward and backwards translate English to Spanish

Educational Value

This student  will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Co-Investigators, and other team members to conduct usability testing of the web tool.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

·         Fluent in written and spoken Spanish

}·      Experience with contraceptive decision tool design

         Experience with conducting English to Spanish forward and back translation to create linguistically and culturally informed health education 

Hourly Rate $18.00/hour
Hours 20.0 hours per week
