The University of Michigan, School of Nursing is currently seeking a Research Assistant to support the Principal Investigator on two grant funded studies. The first is a pilot intervention study to improve physical activity behaviors of older adults with pre-frailty who reside in independent living communities. The second study assesses whether smartphone-based cognitive tests, paired with physical activity monitoring can be used to measure cognitive function and physical activity in real time among older adults in assisted living communities.

Education and Experience:

• Kinesiology or physical rehabilitation experience/training preferred.
• Prior research experience preferred.
• Candidate must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to receive and convey information clearly and concisely for various mediums.
• Excellent computer skills, including knowedge of Microsoft Office products (incuding Word, Excel).
