Position Summary Working closely with both technical and non-technical customers within the University fundraising community, the Development Services Temp will oversee the physical organization, digital tracking, and distribution of university hardware. In addition to inventory management, this role serves as Tier 1 IT support, delivering technical assistance to over 200 Office of University Development (OUD) staff. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills, an eye for process improvement, and a strong commitment to high-quality customer service. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities Inventory and Organization Responsible for organizing current hardware inventory both physically and via software such as Google sheets. Maintain accurate inventory of all deployed hardware within Michigan House. Identify needed equipment and report to the Development Services Coordinator for ordering. Propose and implement methods of physical storage to better organize inventory. Regular equipment checks of AV conferencing/hybrid equipment Prepare and manage Property Disposition and E-Waste
Distribution of Hardware Prepare and ship hardware as required to development staff. Assist with preparation and staging of hardware for onboarding new employees. Assist with hardware collection and organization from offboarding employees.
