About the Role Christ Church Ann Arbor is a warm and welcoming congregation located on S. Industrial Hwy in Ann Arbor, just a short distance from Central Campus. Our church is a vibrant mix of students and families. We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaning assistant to help us keep our building clean, welcoming, and well cared for — a role that plays a vital part in the life and hospitality of our church. The cleaning assistant would come to our church to clean once per week on Wednesdays, for 2-4 hours (exact amount of time flexible). Requirements: - Available for at least 2 hours on Wednesdays, sometime between 10am–4pm (exact timeframe flexible)
- Comfortable cleaning the entire interior of the building, including bathrooms/toilets and other surfaces
- Willing to scrub toilets and bathroom surfaces as needed (our bathrooms are generally not heavily soiled)
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- Reliable and consistent in attendance
- Physical requirements include: lifting, standing, bending for extended periods of time
- All employees are subject to a background check before hiring, and are issued a W2 at year-end.
Support Our administrative assistant is in the building every Wednesday during these hours and is available to answer questions or provide support as needed. All supplies/equipment will be provided by the church. We look forward to hearing from you! |
