Program Coordinator of Dialogue and Intercultural Initiatives Job Summary This approximately 10 hour/week position will serve as the MCSP Coordinator of Dialogue and Intercultural Initiatives in the Michigan Community Scholars Program, a residential learning community in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan. There are four areas of focus: advising the MCSP Intergroup Relations Council student leadership team; supporting and mentoring student leaders; developing and supporting intercultural and dialogic programs and activities and coordinating program communications; collaborating with other program coordinators on MCSP-wide events, and supporting the director and associate director on special projects as needed.
These responsibilities are to be undertaken with direction and supervision from the Director and Associate Director of MCSP. The position runs from approximately August 1, 2026 to May 15, 2027. Flexible work hours may include days, evenings, and occasional weekends, as required. Some remote work is possible; however, program coordinators are expected to attend a weekly staff meeting, hold a weekly student leader team meeting (Mondays from 6-8 p.m.), and maintain regular office hours in the MCSP West Quad office.
