Student Life Research encourages and supports a culture of inquiry throughout the Division of Student Life through the systematic assessment of student learning, experiences, and usage of resources and services.Our core work is seeking a nuanced understanding of all facets of the student experience through centralized assessment and research efforts. We support the continuous improvement of student programming, resources, and services, by conducting Student Life unit-based analysis. Student Life Research serves as a resource for Student Life units in the development of assessment tools, data collection, and the analysis and dissemination of results. And finally, we tell the story of the student experience as well as Student Life’s and the University’s impact on student growth and development. The Student Life Research student research assistant will work on a variety of tasks, which usually include managing research study and professional development logistics, preparing materials for data collections, assisting in data analysis and the development of reports, supporting the Divisional Qualtrics survey platform, and general administrative tasks. The office assistant is expected to work at a designated office computer and maintain a consistent schedule of 10 hours per week. The office assistant will report to the Assistant Director of Student Life Research. Interested applicants should include a resume and cover letter in their application. Starting pay is $18/hour. |
