Job Description |
The M Housing Community Connections and Engagement Department has established a 20-hour-per-week program assistant position to assist with the management and programmatic functions of the Diversity Peer Educator (DPE) program. In addition, the DPE Programming Assistant will be involved in the department's programming, training, and assessment efforts, as well as in campus-wide initiatives related to diversity and inclusion in which Housing is actively engaged. Community Connections and Engagement Student Staff Support – 60% - Assist with management, advising, and training of the Diversity Peer Educators
- Provide administrative support, including but not limited to updating staff reflection tools, organizing programming supplies, creating assessments and reports, and organizing 1:1 and staff meetings.
- Attend student staff meetings, occasionally planning the agenda and leading community and skill-building activities
- Assist fellow program assistants in creating, implementing, and evaluating programming
- Assist DPEs with management, advising, and training of the Multicultural Councils.
Departmental Administrative Support – 40% - Collaborate closely with Community Connections and Engagement staff and campus partners on creating, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that complement residential climate support services and the You Belong Here campaign.
- Work with student staff on developing training sessions, workshops, and programs that address campus climate issues, belonging, and inclusive communities.
- Provide support for student programs in the Multicultural Lounges and the Connector.
- Other duties as assigned in collaboration with Community Connection and Engagement

Job Requirements |
- Enrolled as a senior or graduate student for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Experience in inclusive programming and advising students
- Must have a flexible schedule; evenings and weekends required
- Must be available to work onsite and in-person
