This is a temporary, part-time position for the 2026-27 academic year, ideal for U-M students with an interest in graphics design and/or media production. The Detroit Center Media Student Assistant will report to the Associate Director within the UM Detroit Center (UMDC) team and will collaborate on a variety of marketing and/or media projects.. Responsibilities may include: - Conceive and create graphics and multimedia for specific events
- Assist Detroit Center staff in creating social media graphics/campaigns
- Create and maintain promotional campaigns designed to promote the Detroit Center, its facilities, and events
- Assist with the capture and creation of U-M engagement videos in Detroit
- Edit video and sound for events and podcasts

Hourly Rate Graduate Students: $18.00/hr Undergraduate students: $15.00/hr Time Frame August - May, with flexible start and end dates. Supervision by the UMDC Associate Director, collaborating with the entire Detroit Center team. |
