The Center for Academic Innovation (CAI) is offering a paid employment opportunity for the Fall 2026 term (with potential to continue into the Winter 2027 term) that is available to all University of Michigan undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD/JD students/Postdocs. Who we’re looking for:We’re looking for a motivated, responsible, and creative student to assist in the creation of a new online short course series, “Design for Manufacturing,” under the direction of College of Engineering faculty Kazu Saitou. Responsibilities: Duties may include some or all of the following: Creation of CAD models for parts and machines for lecture examples Creation of illustrations for lecture slides Creation, testing, and debugging of review quizzes and topic assessments In-Video Quiz (IVQ) creation, testing, and debugging Video subtitle review and revision Slide review and revision, alongside CAI’s Learning Experience Designer
