Job Description

Students with interest and experience in communications, especially regarding the environment and natural hazards, are needed to assist the UM Western Forest and Fire Initiative (WFFI) with reports, tables, figures, web content, and web design.

Students will work with a team of faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to design communication materials to share findings from research projects on wildfire hazard topics, including human behavior and biogeophysical models.
Educational Value

Students will gain experience in environmental communications and in working with research teams and have the opportunity to learn about wildfire hazards and human risk mitigation and adaptation behavior.
Job Requirements

Interest in and experience creating graphics and content for various communications, including websites, reports, and presentations.

Hourly Rate $20.00/hour to $30.00/hour
Hours 5.0 to 10.0 hours per week
