Job Description

The Student Graphic Designer will provide graphic media support for events and resources offered by the Center for Campus Involvement (CCI) and University Unions (UU), including: official building signage, diag boards, social media graphics, student programming flyers, and more. The student Graphic Designer will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and coordinating with professional staff, graduate students, and student employees about graphic needs for programs, events and resources

  • Designing event and resource promotion graphics in Adobe Suite or Canva

  • Collaborating with UU marketing team (other graphic design students and professional staff) to create and execute content

  • Attending regular meetings with supervisor and ongoing trainings

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

 

  • Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse audiences

  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or other graphic design software preferred

  • Interest in art/graphic design and/or media career path preferred
