Job Description

The position involves conducting research of Great Lakes fisheries datasets and specimens.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze fisheries data
  • Checking fish weights and lengths
  • Checking fish feed rations
  • Logging data
  • Organizing laboratory equipment and treatments
Educational Value

 

The position offers experience in a laboratory setting at a federal research building.

You will be able to work with other laboratory members, handle multiple datasets, process preserved specimens applicable to other fisheries or hatchery laboratories.
Job Requirements

A working knowledge of microsoft excel and word is required.

Handling live and preserved fish is also a daily activity.

Good communication skills and a collaborative nature.
Hourly Rate $23.15/hour to $28.45/hour
Hours 2.0 to 20.0 hours per week
