The Center for Academic Innovation (CAI) is offering a paid employment opportunity starting the Fall 2026 term through completion of the project (no later than Spring 2028). The opportunity is available to University of Michigan graduate or PhD/Postdoc students. The pay rates are as follows: Graduate $20/hr, PhD/JD/Postdoc $23/hr. Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a motivated, responsible, and creative student to assist in the creation of a new online course series, “Leadership in Healthcare,” under the direction of School of Nursing faculty Michelle Aebersold, Barbara Medvec, and John Knight . 

Responsibilities: 

Duties may include some or all of the following: 

• Content creation and revision

• Assessment creation and revision

• Quiz creation, testing, and debugging

• In-Video Quiz (IVQ) creation, testing, and debugging

• Discussion forum development and organization

• Video subtitle review and revision

• Slide creation and review, alongside CAI’s Learning Experience Designer

• Ability to work independently and in teams in a multicultural and collaborative environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Comfort working in an environment with rapidly changing requirements and priorities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (specifically Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Folders)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (specifically PowerPoint)
