The User Experience and Design team is looking for a student fellow who can support marketing efforts at the Center for Academic Innovation, with a significant emphasis on creating effective and engaging graphic elements across the center’s brands. Projects might include the creation of flyers, graphics for social media and email, and branded marketing collateral. Additional projects may include helping to explore and define the unique brand identities and expression of the Center for Academic Innovation and Online Teaching brands in print, online, and social media. What You’ll Do: - Develop and maintain a Michigan Online marketing email style guide to support brand consistency and accessibility.
- Design and update branded assets, including course flyers, presentation templates, social media graphics, and illustrations.
- Create and adapt approved social media assets in Canva in alignment with Michigan Online brand standards.
- Support the design and development of responsive marketing emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Apply accessibility and inclusive design practices across digital and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop engaging visual solutions for Michigan Online audiences.
- Research design and accessibility trends and recommend opportunities to strengthen Michigan Online communications.
- Regularly participate in Student Fellowship Program (SFP) events, professional development sessions, workshops, and community-building activities.
