Job Description

Seeking an Administrative Assistant for a paid opportunity to support the administration of a national research institute focused on adolescent and young adult cancer patients.

Hiring for Fall 2026/Winter 2027/Spring-Summer 2027 terms, approximately 8-10 hours/wk-$18/hr. The work hours are traditional business hours (9am-5pm Monday-Friday), with some flexibility to work around US time zones and student course and field placement commitments.

Candidate will support Dr Zebrack and the staff of the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Coalition (AYACC) in the development and administration of a national research institute. Activities will include meeting coordination, communication with medical providers, clinical researchers, and patient advocates; organizational management.

Job Requirements

Students with interest in non-profit organization management in the health care space are preferred • Strong ability to think critically • Strong interpersonal skills, including some exposure or experience to working with a diverse population of adolescents and young adults • Professional demeanor • Capacity to work collaboratively with community members and health care professionals in a multidisciplinary academic setting

Hourly Rate $18.00/hour
