We are seeking virtual tutors to service our Michigan based tutoring company! Most of our clients can be flexible with scheduling and can work around your availability. Tutors can opt to work as much or little as they like, but most work 2-8 hours per week. Most tutoring occurs between 3pm-9pm Monday-Thursday so you would need at least a few hours available in those time frames to be able to do this job. Also, the majority of our demand is in Mathematics or the Sciences. 

Excellent pay contingent on a variety of factors! $16-$30 per hour

We have demand across the content areas but have the majority of demand in the following areas:

Mathematics : Algebra I, II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, 2, 3, Statistics

Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Genetrics, Anatomy & Physiology 

Computer Science

Foreign Language: Spanish, German, Mandarin and French

Social Studies: European, American, World, US Government, Psychology

English: Writing, Literature

SAT/ACT Support (particularly if you got a near perfect score and have had previous experience or training)

Interested candidates must possess the following:

- Ability to commit at least 2 hours per week. You can schedule sessions when it works best for you in these time frames, but many opportunities will arise with short notice.

-Punctuality and reliability is a non-negotiable

-Previous experience tutoring, teaching, helping others with homework is a plus

-a 3.4+ GPA

-A fully functioning Computer and Zoom account

-Confidence to tutor and desire to help others

-Previous official tutoring experience is not required, but volunteer teaching or tutoring is beneficial

-Must have proper documentation to obtain gainful employment. Tutors will be 1099 employees. ASP does not have the ability to provide authorization for International students.

-Strong communication skills
