Job Description

SYZYGY.services is an AI consultancy that helps small and mid-sized businesses put AI to work. We're hiring a part-time student consultant to work on real client engagements alongside our team.

Responsibilities include: mapping client workflows and identifying opportunities for automation; analyzing business problems and building ROI-backed recommendations; researching AI tools, vendors, and industry trends and summarizing findings for internal and client use; supporting the development of client deliverables (process documentation, slide decks, written recommendations) and our AI education products; and joining client calls to take notes, track action items, and follow up.

You will work directly with the founders, with real ownership of your projects from the first week. Work is hybrid in Ann Arbor, roughly 8-16 hours per week with flexible scheduling around your class schedule. Hours can increase over the summer for students interested in continuing. Compensation is $18-23 an hour.

To apply, submit an application at syzygy.services/careers or email james@syzygy.services.
