- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. - Proficiency in Excel and the ability to follow detailed data-cleaning and abstraction protocols. - Ability to interpret and abstract information from clinical documentation. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a research team. - Must complete PEERRS Human Subjects Research Protections training and follow Good Clinical Practice and all applicable data-privacy requirements. - Previous human-subjects research experience is preferred. - Familiarity with ICD diagnosis codes and emergency-department triage notes is a plus but is not required. - Interest in emergency medicine, clinical research, youth violence prevention, or firearm-injury prevention in healthcare and community settings is preferred. |
