Under the supervision of the University Health & Counseling (UHC) marketing and communications specialist, the UHC communications assistant will support the development and implementation of dynamic and effective communications efforts around student health and mental health in Student Life. Efforts will include writing and editing content for websites, social media, and more; collecting news clips; brainstorming fun and new ways to creatively engage with students and other stakeholders; and design work. This position will play an important role in communications and marketing efforts for the Mental Health on College Campuses Conference (formerly Depression on College Campuses Conference); U-M’s partnership with the Jed Foundation; and occasional collaboration on other health and wellness subject areas such as sexual health, public health, and related topics. |
