optiMize, a program within LSA Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship specializing in positive impact entrepreneurship, is hiring for the position of a Graphic Design Lead/Illustrator within our leadership team beginning asap. The Graphic Design lead will be responsible for designing brand-compliant projects. These projects will range from event signs and posters to illustrative publications. It is imperative that the Graphic Design lead is highly proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat, and is able to work independently while adhering to style guidelines to maintain a unified brand identity. Candidates must provide work samples at interview. REQUIRED HOURS: 5-10 hours per week. While there is the opportunity for some remote work, some time each week will be spent in the Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship office in the LSA Building.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Create and ensure on-time delivery of accurate, brand-compliant final artwork for the following:
• Flyers (print and digital)
• Signs (directional, event/activity specific)
• Publications

Required computer skills: high-level proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Reader.

• Excellent attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a deadline-sensitive environment.

Desired Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in design (formal or informal)
