Job Description

 What you'll do:

 Use various coding tools to help build education apps, including:


 - Wajibo (wajibo.com): flashcard courses and a teacher gradebook for K–12 classrooms, on web and iPhone


 - CodexTutor (codextutor.com): an iOS app for reading classic texts in Latin, Ancient Greek, Arabic, French and German through glossed passages

Tasks include building features, fixing bugs, testing, and improving the websites and course content.

No professional experience needed; programming coursework is a plus. Interest in language learning, classical literature, or k-12 education is a plus, but not a requirement.

 

Note: Software Development experience not necessary. Students will be trained in how to use LLM assited coding tools to develop.

 
Educational Value

You'll work on real apps that people use, not class projects.

You'll learn web and iOS development, how to use AI coding tools well, and what it takes to ship software. The work is good to have on a résumé or in a portfolio.
Job Requirements

Current U-M student. Some programming experience, from classes or your own projects.

Comfortable learning new tools on your own. Able to work 7–12 hours a week in person in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti.
Hours 7.0 to 12.0 hours per week
Compensation $13.73/hour to $15.00/hour
