Do you love working with kids and teens, dreaming up fun programs, and bringing a little creativity to everything you do? We’re looking for a Youth Program Engagement Specialist to help make the library a welcoming, exciting place for young people (AGES 0 -18).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

            Youth Programs

·        Plan and lead at least 2 weekly story times for patrons ages 0-6;

·        Plan and lead at least 3 monthly youth (ages 8- 18) library programs;

·        Develop at least 2 self-guided STEAM activities;

·      Assist Program Manager in planning and leading Summer Reading Club programs;

             Social Media

·        Create and schedule daily content for social media platforms covering all library services;

·        Create live or timely content covering library programs and events;

{ECredits in Education or a related field and a minimum of three years of experience specializing in planning and facilitating youth programs or events, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

WExperience in using various social media platforms.

EExperience in creating and editing programs and software such as Canva, CapCut, etc.
